Position: Homelessness Prevention Case Manager
Reports to: Director of Housing Services Program
Exempt Position: 40 hours/week
Starting Salary: $36,400.00-$40560.00 (DOE), Health and Vacation Benefits

NOTE: Due to the current state of emergency due to COVID-19, this position is temporarily operating remotely with limited time in the office. Responsibilities may vary accordingly.
Provide housing search and stabilization services through holistic, comprehensive, culturally appropriate case management services including counseling and advocacy to the most vulnerable.
Reporting to the Director of Housing Services, this position coordinates services to help individuals and families prevent homelessness and achieve housing stability.

3A. COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of counseling and advocacy techniques including crisis intervention and case management skills will be beneficial
- Ability to relate effectively and respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds
- Must work well with persons of varied sexual preference, racial, ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision and guidance
- Can multitask, able to plan, organize and prioritize work to meet schedules and deadlines
- Experience in performing administrative duties pertaining to programs
- Experience in entering data into HMIS
- Good oral and written communication and computer skills are required especially Microsoft Office
3B. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or a related field with at least 1-year experience or equivalent work with assisting those who are homeless, at risk of homelessness and or, immigrant and refugees
- Preferably bilingual in Mandarin, Cantonese and Vietnamese
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License -preferred
