Growing season for vegetables is just around the corner. On March 5th, we had over 40 of our gardeners from the Danny Woo Community Garden come out and gather seeds for our annual Seed Giveaway at the Nihonmachi Terrace Community Room.
We had a variety of seeds that the gardeners requested including bok choy, garlic chives and snow peas. We also started seedlings in our indoor growing station to give out to gardeners later this month. With warm weather coming, we’ll be looking for volunteers to help in the garden.
